What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how a site is being used. Similar technologies such as local storage work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
What we currently use
This site is deliberately light on cookies. At present we use the following:
Strictly necessary
- Session and authentication cookies — set only when a member of staff signs in to the administration area. They keep that session secure and are essential to it working. Ordinary visitors browsing the site are not issued these.
- Security cookies — used to protect forms against automated abuse and cross-site request forgery.
These cannot be switched off through a consent banner, because the service cannot function without them. They do not track you across other websites.
Analytics
We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated and — where the law requires it — your consent will be requested before any such cookie is set.
Embedded content
Some pages may in future embed content from third parties, such as a map or a social media feed. Those providers may set their own cookies, which are governed by their policies rather than ours. We will identify any such embed on the page where it appears.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy or Security. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when you close it.
Blocking all cookies will prevent staff sign-in from working, but will not stop you browsing properties or making an enquiry.
